>>> About this blog... <<<

This blog has just been created. We have high hopes that it has not been created too late. This is a blog, as you might have guessed from looking at the a. name of the blog, b. about the blog section on the sidebar, or c. the layout (we had great fun picking a layout, by the way. This was the one time all our scene thirsts and cravings could be melted and smacked into one, glorious layout full of tiny fonts, lower case letters, ...'s, <3's, and general sceneness. There are about a million or so of layouts that are dedicated to the scene, therefore our high hopes that this blog hasn't come to o late seems a bit reasonable. We were almost persuaded to change our real blog into a scene nature just to make layouting a lot easier...but, in the end, and it was probably for the best, that we decided to let that one stay...you know, normal.) this blog is totally and utterly dedicated to the scene.

And what is the scene, you might ask. Well, first, you should know. If you don't--that's why we're here (actually, you know what? Just go read our not so beginner's guide to being scene. It'll give you some pointers). If you do, and love the scene, or just really love making fun of it (don't worry, in case you haven't noticed: we do too), that's also why we're here. We will do great many things to make life that much better for you. Including: two week courses on being scene! Detailed how-to instructions! Lists of bands to know! Clothes to wear! Things to say! Photos! Trust us, we know the scene better than the scene knows itself.

Right. We shall also post about bands that are key to the scene, from obvious suspects to obscure name droppers--your life will become a breeze after we kick into high gear. And, oh, we will, we will.

What we need from you, dear readers that currently do not exist, is feedback and tips and suggestions! The scene is community. And while we might be the obvious leaders of that community, we need our wonderful citizens to keep it up. So, write often, comment often, love often. And we'll return the favor.
